SWIMMING WITH DOLPHINS.
There are few places in the world where you have the opportunity to snorkel with wild dolphins in their natural habitat. Sataya Reef in Egypt, also known as Dolphin Reef, is one such place.
Breathtakingly beautiful. Both underwater, with its stunning coral reefs, thousands of species of fish, underwater animals, and magical dolphins. And above water, with its 360-degree views of the endless crystal-clear, turquoise sea and fabulous sunrises and sunsets.
We will be staying at Sataya Reef for a week. This is the natural habitat of several groups of dolphins, who come here almost every day of their own free will to rest, play, and raise their young. When the dolphins are in the reef, we snorkel with them several times a day. Of course, we do so with the utmost respect and without touching them.
But YOU will be touched by them. In your heart. In your soul. The magic of encounters with dolphins is indescribable. It is something you have never experienced before, and something you will remember for the rest of your life. Effortless and abundant. Relaxed and peaceful. Playful and at home.
THE DOLPHINS.
The dolphins that live in Sataya Reef are spinner dolphins, also known as long-snouted dolphins. Very occasionally, a few large bottlenose dolphins (common dolphins) join the spinners.
Spinner dolphins are about 2 meters long and can be recognized by their long, thin snouts. They are graceful, agile, fast, and playful. They are called spinners because they regularly jump out of the water and spin around several times, clearly enjoying themselves.
During the night, the dolphins are out in the deep open sea hunting and feeding. Early in the morning, they come to the calm reef almost every day to rest, play, and raise their young. At the end of the afternoon, they leave the reef, rested and ready for another night of hunting.
Spinner dolphins are social animals, moving in groups and naturally very curious. Sometimes they are resting, moving calmly and peacefully through the water. The serenity you experience when you are with them is very special. At other times, they are in a playful mood. They jump, play, and chase each other, regularly inviting you to join in their game.
Because they communicate with you. And you will always understand what they say, want, or ask. Sometimes they swim right next to you and make conscious eye contact. That is heartwarming. You are seen. From a place of universal love and respect.
THE REEF.
The Sataya Reef is located in southern Egypt, about 10 km off the coast in the Red Sea. It stretches for almost 5 km in length and is heart-shaped when viewed from the air.
The long reef forms a sheltered lagoon (averaging only 4-10 meters deep), where large groups of spinner dolphins visit almost daily. Thousands of species of fish and other underwater animals can be discovered in the beautiful coral reefs.
The water is crystal clear, clean, and beautiful. It has a pleasant temperature between 24 and 29 degrees Celsius. It is also very salty, which provides great buoyancy and makes snorkeling in this area very relaxing.
In addition, Sataya is a place of power, with a very pure but high energy. It is easier to receive healing and insights there. You will also find that just by spending a week there, you will become closer to yourself and your heart.
Finally, the reef is also known as the 'Pearl of Mother Earth'. It has a beautiful spot called Shallow Place (also known as Crystal Temple or Womb of Sataya). Here, the water is so shallow that you can stand on the sandy bottom. Dolphins even give birth to their young here sometimes.
INTERACTING WITH DOLPHINS.
The dolphins treat each other and us with such love and respect. We therefore believe it is very important to treat them and their environment with the same love and respect.
So we don't chase them, we don't touch them, we don't feed them. We don't jump into the water like crazy when we see them. We are their guests for a whole week, we are in no hurry. And since this place is also a resting place for the dolphins, we don't swim with them during certain hours. We always wait for the right moments to go into the water together. Shwaya shwaya.
The dolphins come to the reef on their own initiative, so it is possible that they may not be there on a particular day. That is what makes encounters with dolphins so magical: they choose whether they want to meet you, how long they swim alongside you, and how they want to interact with you. Sometimes you swim peacefully alongside them, other times they are playful and invite you to join them.

DOLPHINS AND THEIR MAGIC.
Dolphins are also known as the Angels of the Sea. Once you have encountered them, you will see, understand, and feel why. The universal love you feel is so pure, grand, and unprecedented.
Swimming with dolphins can give you an intense feeling of happiness, joy, connection, and freedom. You can effortlessly receive their love and light with an open heart and be completely in the NOW with them.
And the dolphins mirror you. Sometimes pleasantly, sometimes confrontational. Just like any mirror works. The dolphins give you insights. Sometimes consciously, but more often unconsciously. The dolphins see YOU. They help you remember who you are in essence.
